Market agency CRU forecasts that global cable demand will grow at a CAGR of about 4% between 2023 and 2027, exceeding 650 million core kilometers by the end of 2027.
CRU noted that various funding initiatives focused on bridging the "digital divide" will increase the speed of deployment in the United States. National FTTH schemes in the UK, Germany and Italy will support healthy growth in cable demand in Europe.
