The data center open rack can accommodate all standard 19-inch equipment, but the equipment cannot be too high or too deep. It features removable mounting brackets that can usually be bolted directly to vertical rack rails to support devices such as UPS systems, PDUs, cable managers, switches, distribution frames and fiber optic distribution frames. In general, open racks are highly compatible with different network devices.
Open racks without doors and mounting rails not only provide ease of installation, but also provide ample open space for cable management, making them ideal for network distribution frame and high-density fiber distribution frame applications.
There are currently two basic types: 2-port and 4-port racks, where 2-port racks have the advantage of being able to mount equipment with greater depth, while 4-port racks have the advantage of being able to support equipment with greater weight.
When designing a data center, give priority to racks. No matter which rack is selected, it is necessary to ensure the security of the network and correctly manage the cable to create an orderly and reliable network environment.
